About

I am a father of four, a husband, pastor, missionary, seminary student all rolled into one and not necessarily in any certain order. First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Everything else flows from this foundation. I have served as a pastor for 6 years, 5 of which have been at First Baptist Church of Braymer, MO. I am passionate about preaching, teaching, and missions and I long to see this world changed and transformed through the power of the gospel. I am also pursing a PhD in New Testament studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. What I write here on this blog can be categorized at best as random, sometimes serious, maybe amusing, theological, Scriptural, encouraging, and hopefully dialogical.
